Data Protection

We make sure that your personal data is treated securely. That also applies to data you may transfer over local and remote networks or over the Internet, while using some of data transmission protocols and services built into Path Finder (AFP, SMB, SSH, Google Drive, Dropbox…). We use encryption built into those protocols to protect your information and data. But keep in mind that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
When using file/data transmutation services and protocols, we don't store and keep any of your personal information. All information needed to successfully login into remote servers and file storage services (Google Drive, Dropbox:) are kept locally and securely in your personal keychain, which you can manage using macOS built-in application "Keychain Access".

We may need to contact you via email about updates, new product announcements, and special offers. When you purchase a product from Cocoatech, you automatically opt in to receive “marketing” related emails. You can opt out from marketing related emails anytime.

We update our privacy policy from time to time and will email you about the new changes. If you don’t agree with the “updated” privacy policy, you will need to stop using our product(s).
